Just a short stroll away, I found myself amidst iconic attractions such as the Prado Museum and the Reina Sofia, perfect for satiating my passion for art and culture. The air-conditioned room was simple yet comfortable, and having a private bathroom was a welcome touch after long days of wandering the city. The enchanting private courtyard offered a moment of tranquility, while the helpful staff ensured our needs were met, especially with free luggage storage before our train departure. Though I noticed some noise from adjacent rooms, it didn't significantly detract from my time there, and the cleanliness of the facilities stood out remarkably-on par with higher-starred establishments I've visited. I would certainly recommend Hostal San Blas to fellow travelers seeking an authentic experience in the heart of Madrid, as it truly embodies value and accessibility amidst the rich tapestry of this vibrant city.
